1950s Jorge "Chato" Castillo Taxco Iconic Parrot Martini Pitcher and Stirrer
A rare and important example of a 1950s Jorge "Chato" Castillo Taxco Mexico iconic parrot designed martini pitcher with matching stirrer. The pitcher and stirrer are a silver/nickel alloy combined with abalone accents. Jorge is the brother of Antonio Castillo and himself an award winning designer in Taxco Mexico from the 1950s. There is black mark on the side of the pitcher that does not polish out.
Pitcher measures: 3"Dia x 8.75"H
Stirrer measures, 10.5" L x 1.5" W x .5" H. Marked.
