Artist Franklin Boggs leather tannery series of eight prints dated 1958. The series depicts different stages in the tannery process starting with removing the hide from the animal to the dying and drying stage. All the colors are bright and well executed. Boggs is known for his works related to documenting WWII and his works are shown in leading US museums. All prints are signed either in the print or by hand.
